Bouré Bicycle Clothing was started in 1988 by Drew Bourey in Tucson, Arizona. Our first shop was downtown in the back of Wheeler Bikes. Drew was racing bicycles at the time and were looking for a way to make a living in the sport he enjoyed.

We moved the business to Durango in June of 1989 and set up shop in a small, windowless loft. Here we complimented our love of road riding with mountain biking, Nordic skiing, and trail running.

In 1992 Ned Overend became a partner in Bouré Bicycle Clothing. His involvement gave us a recognizable name and a world class product tester.
