Come race the train in our hometown of Durango. Climb 4000 feet to the top of Coal Bank Pass,descend a 1000 feet, climb another 1000 feet to the top of MolasPass, then descend 2000 feet at 50 mph into Silverton on twistymountain roads with breathtaking views. 50 miles of hero-makingterrain. Oh yeah, there's a MTB XC and DH race, and a criterium,too. Memorial Day weekend for the last 32 years. |
"Ride the Blaze... We're Sending Cyclists to College"
Hosted by Fort Lewis College, the Durango Fall Blaze offers three different tour options, including a 37 mile, 60 mile, and 100 mile ride. All proceeds benefit the Tom Danielson Scholarship Fund at Fort Lewis College which is dedicated to rising young cyclists. Each scholarship recipient must possess a love for the sport, maintain a 2.7 or higher grade point average, and must be an active community member.
