This hood is made to attach to the Showers Pass ELITE eVent rain jacket, TOURING jacket and CLUB rain jacket. It is designed to be worn under the helmet - so it fits pretty close, like a hat. The hood is cut far back on the sides to minimize interference with peripheral vision and to maintain potential for hearing traffic. The hood does not scoop air when you are riding. It is black and made of waterproof breathable fabric. At the neck a large fabric overlap created by the jacket collar and the hood keeps rain out. The hood attaches with three velcro bits (although it works OK without them too).
